Teenagers became Scientists for a Day
|
A group of 30 pupils from the luxembourgish secondary school 'Lycée de Garçons' visited the LCSB on December 12 and spent an interesting day at the laboratories of the biomedical research centre placed on Campus Belval. The teenagers, aged 16 to 17, were invited and guided by the group of Dr. Karsten Hiller, who gave a talk at the school before.
The program ranged from microscopic imaging of human cells to DNA analysis and the staining of cell organelles like mitochondria. The group was accompanied by the two teachers Véronique Welter and Myriam Rehlinger. |
